The Silmarillion » Humans » House of Bëor (of Dorthonion)

Bereth - daughter of Bregolas and sister to Baragund and Belegund. She was the aunt of Morwen and Rían and therefore related to Túrin, Nienor, and Tuor. She was also the ancestress to Erendis of Númenor.

Eilinel - the wife of Gorlim the Unhappy, who was one of Barahir's companions. After surviving the Dagor Bragollach in 455 FA, Barahir's companions lived as outlaws. Gorlim came upon his house and saw that it was destroyed and his wife gone. He searched for Eilinel, but was captured and tortured by Sauron. Sauron told Gorlim that if he told him where Barahir and his men were, then he would be reunited with Eilinel. Gorlim was finally persuaded and told all, but Sauron revealed Eilinel was dead and then killed Gorlim saying that he was now reunited with his wife. Sauron's orcs killed Barahir and all of his men (including Baragund and Belegund); only Beren escaped the slaughter.

Emeldir - Called the Man-hearted, she was the wife of Barahir and mother of Beren. She led the women and children of the House of Bëor safely out of Dorthonion into Brethil after the Dagor Bragollach (Battle of Sudden Flame). She herself was a descendant of Bëor.
